Who we are
Kafaalo Community Development is a humanitarian nonprofit NGO with the mission of providing relief to the most needy and vulnerable segments of our society. Our primary target beneficiaries include urban destitute, street children, low-income families, and orphaned children.
The word “Kafaalo” means “to help” in the Somali language. We believe that everyone has the right to live a life free from suffering, and we are committed to providing the help and support that people need to rebuild their lives.
As a humanitarian NGO, our programs depend on the generosity of our donors and partners to provide aid and assistance to the needy.
We welcome all kinds of help including funding our projects, donating goods such as food, clothes, household items, medical supplies, and personal care items. We accept both new and used items. For further information on ways to help, click the button below.
